GOOD SPORTS: Fresh off the Winter Games in Sochi, where she scooped three Olympic medals, Italian short track speed skater Arianna Fontana took a day off to sit front row at Moncler Gamme Rouge on Wednesday. “My trainer didn’t want me to come here,” she confessed. “The World Champs start in Montreal this weekend.”
Given that she usually trains twice daily for five to six hours, she said she plans to add “an extra session” to make up for the lost time: “It’s a job, you know.”
Bianca Brandolini d’Adda just returned from L.A., where she presented a short film she shot with Carmen Chaplin in honor of her legendary grandfather, Charlie, with festivals in New York, Cannes and Venice still on the list. “It’s a sci-fi comedy, so crazy, I can’t even explain it,” said the model-turned-actress.
The movie features five girls living in the future, but wanting to go back in time to change what lies ahead, said Brandolini d’Adda before turning to Alexia Niedzielski, seated next to her, for a hug. “But I’m also working with my friend here on a small capsule collection for a Brazilian brand,” she continued.
“It’s called Osklen,” said Niedzielski. “It’s swimwear and we are launching in Paris in July.”
