WEDNESDAY’S CROWD: Vanessa Bayer, a cast member of “Saturday Night Live,” attended her first fashion show Wednesday and was seated front and center at Nanette Lepore. Known for her celebrity impressions of Miley Cyrus, Hillary Clinton and Kourtney Kardashian, Bayer, a Penn alum, said she’s never been to a fashion show before, because she moved here from Chicago, where she did improv comedy before joining the “SNL” cast last season.
Following the show, Arianna Huffington was overheard telling Bayer she’d love her to write for the Huffington Post.
Stanley Tucci was attending his only show during Fashion Week, because he’s friends with Lepore and her husband, Bob Savage. Tucci just wrapped up several movies — “Gambit,” “Jack the Giant Killer” (“I wish they’d change the name of that one,” he said), and “Hunger Games” — and is about to start shooting, “The Company You Keep,” Robert Redford’s political thriller, in Vancouver, in November.
Meantime, Milly had a photogenic front row, filled with Peaches Geldof, Tinsley Mortimer, Hayley Bloomingdale and Lucy Sykes, all taking in the colorful show.
