BREAKING BIG: Loan Chabanol is about to make her big-screen debut opposite some Hollywood heavyweights. The French model-turned-actress joins a cast including Woody Allen, Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara in John Turturro’s “Fading Gigolo,” set for release on April 2.
So who is the fading gigolo of the title? “It’s John Turturro’s character and Woody Allen is playing a pimp, so it’s going to be a lot of fun to watch those two playing those roles. They were great,” Chabanol said at the Sonia Rykiel show in Paris on Friday.
Meanwhile, Pauline Lefèvre got to rub shoulders with Johnny Hallyday in French director Claude Lelouch’s upcoming “Salaud on t’aime” (which loosely translates as “We Love You, You Bastard”). The former Canal Plus weather presenter confessed she was a fan of the 70-year-old rocker, hailed as France’s answer to Elvis Presley.
“I loved working with him. On top of that, I get to call him ‘Dad’ and give him a hug in the movie, so it was really more than a fan could ever wish for,” she said. Lou Lesage and Sonia, Nathalie and Lola Rykiel also took in the show.
