HOT CRUSH: Front-row photographers got a little rowdy at the Stella McCartney show in Paris, which drew a smorgasbord of A-listers. Sir Paul McCartney, Kate Moss, Salma Hayek, François-Henri Pinault, Natalia Vodianova, Mario Testino, M.I.A. and Blanca Li were among the guests.
Also in attendance was Jerry Seinfeld, who said he had finished working on the material for his next live comedy tour, which will take him to Duluth, Minnesota — among other exotic destinations. “I find it very exciting there,” he deadpanned. His wife Jessica appeared nonplussed. “He’s always on tour. He lives on tour,” she sighed.
Though he sticks close to home when performing, Seinfeld is also popular in Europe, where local television stations show dubbed reruns of his hit Nineties sitcom. “I love them. I have no idea what it means,” he said. “In some languages it’s definitely funnier. I think it’s very funny in Italian.”
British actress Charlotte Rampling said her next movie, “I, Anna,” would premiere at the London Film Festival this month. Barnaby Southcombe, who just happens to be her son, directed the film noir. “It was an extraordinary experience to work with him as a director, so I hope it shows in the film,” she said.
