MERRY MAKING: Sir Paul McCartney, taking in his designing daughter Stella’s show, said he’s writing music for a ballet next September. “I’m also going to South America soon — to sing and play and be merry,” he mentioned before being introduced to Beth Ditto. The singer disclosed that her band, Gossip, is hard at work on a new album.
Elsa Zylberstein said she’s shooting three movies between December and April. “A Butterfly Kiss,” in which she stars alongside Vincent Perez and Cecile de France, is slated for release in February. “It’s about three girls waiting for their miracle,” she explained. “I play one of them — an actress.” Tasha de Vasconcelos disclosed that her autobiography, due out in January, could be made into a film. “Some people say I’m too young, but then they look at what I’ve lived,” she said.
Somali model, writer and human rights activist Waris Dirie said it was the first catwalk show she had ever attended. Her new book, “Black Woman, White Country,” is out now in Germany and will be released elsewhere shortly. Salma Hayek and Liv Tyler were also in attendance.
