Tommy Hilfiger, who’s celebrating his company’s 25th anniversary, brought out the big guns for his show on Sunday. “Tommy has been a friend for years,” said Lenny Kravitz, clad in a Rag & Bone sweater poncho and plus-size aviators. “He’s involved with the music community, and has really supported musicians including myself throughout his career,” Kravitz said, who has collaborated with Hilfiger in the past.
Also supporting the designer were a giggly, energetic J.Lo; Bradley Cooper; Neil Harris, and Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szhor and Ed Westwick. Fellow sportswear designer and music mogul Russell Simmons, who said Hilfiger “speaks my design language more than anyone in the business,” was also pounding Hilfiger’s faux-cobblestone pavement, bordered with fake grass trim. “I follow his design ideas all the time. Tommy’s men’s collection is the company I’d most like to emulate,” Simmons said.
“Tommy is not just a designer, he’s an icon,” said New York Knick Amare Stoudemire. “This is a great first step into fashion for me,” the baller added, flanked by Anna Wintour and Amy Astley on one side and Hamish Bowles on the other.
