Guests at the Vivienne Westwood show had plenty of time to get acquainted, as traffic jams delayed the start of the show by 90 minutes. The three members of French electro band Twin Twin kept busy by singing and chatting with their neighbor Luce Brunet, who won the French version of “Pop Idol” in June. “I was just in the studio,” said Brunet, who showed up without the painted-on moustache that has made her an unlikely popular icon. Twin Twin are no newcomers to the fashion scene, having collaborated with Andrea Crews and agnès b. “We mix influences from the street, hip hop, carnival, techno, rock and beat boxes,” said bassist François Djemel. “It feels natural because we come from the era of the MP3.” French author Frédéric Beigbeder caught the show before celebrating his birthday with friends, while Emanuele Filiberto caught up with Jean-Louis Scherrer.
