NEW FIT SCHOLARSHIP FROM FSN: Fashion Service Network, a group of professionals who provide services and operational expertise to the fashion industry, has established the Fashion Service Network Scholarship for students attending Fashion Institute of Technology. Open to FIT students in any year of study, the two scholarships of $2,500 each may be applied for each year through the school’s financial aid application. One is earmarked for students in the School of Art and Design, and the other for students in the Baker School of Business and Technology.


Andy Jassin, managing director at Jassin Consulting Group and founding member of FSN, said, “Our vision for this scholarship is to ensure that the fashion industry remains strong, focused, flexible and innovative in future generations.”


Michael Stanley, managing director at factoring firm Rosenthal & Rosenthal, Inc., said, “The scholarship will provide financial support to assist in education, pursue creative careers in the fashion industry and find innovative ways to keep the excitement of the fashion industry strong.”
