FULL COURT PRESS: Neiman Marcus Group Ltd. LLC strengthened its public relations team Wednesday with the addition of Mimi Crume Sterling as vice president of corporate communications and public relations. Sterling, a veteran communications specialist who previously worked at Hearst Magazines, Assouline, Hermès and other firms, reports to Frank Kern, senior vice president of brand marketing, public relations and the InCircle rewards program. She is relocating to Dallas from New York with her husband and two small children, the company said.
Though the titles aren’t identical, Sterling is considered a successor for Gabrielle de Papp, the vice president of corporate public relations who left the company last July to join Farfetch. Longtime company spokeswoman Ginger Reeder reports to Sterling and has had her title shift from vice president of corporate communications to vice president of media relations and corporate giving. Sandy Marple, vice president of special events, also reports to Sterling.
