FULLY CLOTHED: Anyone who saw the video for Robin Thicke’s summer anthem “Blurred Lines” has seen Emily Ratajkowski — almost all of her. The English model, who stripped down and strutted for the controversial video, is the latest subject of Rag & Bone’s DIY Project, in which an attractive woman of David Neville and Marcus Wainwright’s choosing is given a digital camera, some Rag & Bone clothes and carte blanche to create her own ad campaign.
“As a model and actress, Emily takes on roles and is given direction, but the beauty of the DIY Project is that the girl has free reign to do whatever she wants,” said Wainwright. “So it was an opportunity for her to show how she sees herself.”
“She looks really cool in the clothes,” added Neville of the shoot, which launches today and features Ratajkowski in New York City, where she recently moved, wearing a T-shirt, a hoodie and a chambray shirt. Lest her male fan base be disappointed, there are some more revealing shots, too. “It’s an exciting and crazy transition time and I wanted to capture that by shooting basically in my empty apartment and around the city,” said Ratajkowski, who will appear as Ben Affleck’s mistress in the movie adaptation of “Gone Girl.” “It’s a fresh start.”
