GARDEN GAMES: The Duchess of Cambridge donned a yellow and white collarless coat dress by Emilia Wickstead for the first of the Queen’s annual garden parties at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday. She accessorized with a clutch and heels by L.K. Bennett, and a white Jane Corbett hat with sculpted ribbons on top. The Queen holds a series of garden parties at Buckingham Palace every spring, serving tea and coffee, cakes and sandwiches to thousands of invited members of the public.
On Wednesday, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester also joined the party and mingled with guests. More than 8,000 people were invited to Wednesday’s event, including athletes and officials who had participated in the London 2012 Olympics.
