MILAN — The Phoenix Art Museum is paying tribute to Gianfranco Ferré.

The Arizona-based art institution’s Steele Gallery is to host “The White Shirt According to Me: Gianfranco Ferré,” set to the public Nov. 4 and running through March 6. The exhibit, which was first unveiled at the Textile Museum in Prato, Tuscany, in February 2014 and which was on show last March at Milan’s Palazzo Reale, gathers 27 of the key white shirts designed by Ferré from 1982 to 2006.

In addition, a retrospective illustrating the Italian designer’s career through images, sketches, as well as a selection of couture and ready-to-wear pieces, will be on display at the Phoenix Art Museum’s Ellman Fashion Design Gallery.
