GREAT OUTDOORS: Jack Spade is the latest label to collaborate with Barbour. The capsule collection, called Jack Spade + Barbour, comprises two waxed jackets — called the Plimpton and the Hopper — along with four bag styles, including a tote, a duffel bag, a messenger bag and a briefcase. The collection launched Thursday at select Jack Spade and Barbour stores in the U.S. and the U.K. and at jackspade.com.
Cuan Hanly, vice president and brand director at Jack Spade, noted that the two labels share a heritage in fashioning products that are “functional, stylish and timeless. At their core, both brands focus on creating practical products that our customers actually need.” Prices for the line range from 200 pounds, or $245, for the pocket messenger bag and run through to 659 pounds, or $799, for the Hopper jacket. The collaboration follows Barbour’s recent collections with Temperley London and Anya Hindmarch.
