GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK (TIE): Before he takes to Cannes’ red carpet for the premiere of the Wes Anderson-directed “Moonrise Kingdom,” Ed Norton will be going green as the cohost of Monday’s first annual Bodhi Tree Foundation dinner in Manhattan. Guests will get to listen in when the actor chats with National Geographic Adventure’s Costas Christ about traveling with meaning. (The pair met at last fall’s Sixth Senses Slow Life Symposium in the Maldives, where Richard Branson and others gathered to discuss planet-saving initiatives.)

Peter Matthiessen will be the other headliner at the event at Tom Colicchio’s Riverpark. The author-filmmaker will share his adventures with the crowds. Designer Robert Comstock, a BTF board member, has ponied up one of his $7,000 leather coats for the CK Swett-hosted silent auction. Michael Kors has kicked in a $2,200 python handbag and the evening’s DJ Yasa has thrown in a nine-CD set for bidders.
