GOOP SCOOP: Gwyneth Paltrow’s third Goop pop-up shop will arrive in the Windy City on April 25 and operate through May 10 at 11 East Walton Street. Goop has been unveiling pop-ups in key cities. The Web site’s first shop bowed in Los Angeles last May and a pop-up landed in Dallas in November. The 1,700-square-foot Chicago shop will have items exclusive to the Midwest market. Kara Mann is designing the space to look like a residence with locally sourced furniture and decor. Local design studio Jayson Home will offer pieces such as an antique draper table, bar cart, vintage cantilever chair and vintage Lucite dining table. There will also be a “Michael S. Smith” tub provided by Kallista, a division of Kohler.
Chicagoans will find a selection of Goop favorites from designers such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Stella McCartney, Paul Andrew, Staub and Heather Taylor Home. There will also be items from pop-up partners Equipment, Carbon 38, Hatch and Coach.
