GREEN MACHINE: Harrods will team up with garden designer Sheena Seeks on a concept garden at the annual Chelsea Flower Show in May. Seeks will use a technique known as “enfleurage,” where the scent of a flower is collected in wax for “The Fragrance Garden.” The outdoor display will also feature flowers contained in laboratory test tubes and beakers, and large paper blooms. There will also be a digital initiative where images of the garden can be enhanced using a mobile phone or tablet. Seeks said the Harrods installation will be “truly innovative. Designing this garden has given me the freedom to explore the idea of the garden as a space where nature meets technology.”
