Harrods to Unveil ‘Pradasphere’

London store plans to showcase all facets of the Italian brand in May.

HARRODS WEARS PRADA: Harrods is preparing to showcase planet Prada with a large-scale exhibition in May titled “Pradasphere.”

Harrods said its aim is to show the depth and breadth, influence and ambitions of Prada — across fashion, accessories, art, architecture and cinema — with a display of past collections, collaborations, and special projects in a show that will take place on its fourth floor.

Harrods plans to open a Pradasphere Café, while the windows on the ground floor will showcase archive pieces and a capsule collection of ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, and accessories created for Harrods and inspired by Prada designs from the last 100 years.

Helen David, fashion director of women’s wear, accessories, fine jewelry and children’s wear at Harrods called Prada, “Italy’s finest fashion house,” and said the show would bring its universe to life.
