POSH PAD: Hermès, which recently expanded its home furnishings offering, is decorating an apartment in Singapore. Luxury property developer SC Global Developments said it has struck a collaborative agreement with Hermès to furnish an apartment in the The Marq on Patterson Hill complex. The deal will see designers from the French luxury brand outfit a five-bedroom, 6,200-square-foot space with everything from leather upholstery to wallpaper.
The apartment should be completed in the first quarter of next year. Located just off Singapore’s Orchard Road shopping drag, the Marq is one of the country’s most expensive residential developments. A 3,000-square-foot unit there sold for 19 million Singaporean dollars, or $14.5 million, in August, making it the most expensive flat in Singapore when measured by price per square foot. But flush jetsetters hoping to snag the French brand’s digs are out of luck. SC Global is going to retain the residence for private events and parties.
