Tommy Hilfiger is taking all of his collections on the road come the new year.
While Hilfiger’s women’s collections will be shown in Los Angeles in February, the men’s wear collections are headed to Florence, Italy, for the first time.
Hilfiger, which is owned by PVH Corp., will show his fall 2017 global men’s wear brands at the 91st edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence from Jan. 10 to 13.
Hilfiger will showcase a curated selection of the Hilfiger Edition, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored and Tommy Hilfiger sportswear collections together in one space for the first time. It will take place in the Fortezza da Basso, with digital displays that represent the youthful spirit of the brand.
Guests will be invited to browse the men’s wear designs through various digital mediums, including touch-screen retail shopping walls and visual merchandising fixtures, as well as the brand’s signature Digital Showroom. The Digital Showroom offers a customized buying approach that significantly reduces global sample investments.
“This is an exciting moment — presenting my men’s collections at Pitti Immagine Uomo for the first time,” said Hilfiger. “Pitti creates the unique opportunity to experience modern fashion within Florence’s historical setting, and we are very inspired by the idea of blending newness with tradition and innovation with history.”
Hilfiger will present his complete fall Hilfiger Edition collection at a cocktail for press, VIPs, buyers and friends of the brand on Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. Hilfiger Edition featured classics reimagined for today.
As reported, Hilfiger will show his “see-now-wear-now” spring women’s sportswear collection and Tommy x Gigi capsule in Venice Beach on Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
