H&M is teaming with the World Wildlife Fund on a new kids’ collection


WILD AT HEART: Swedish fashion retailer H&M is teaming with the World Wildlife Fund on a new kids’ collection aimed at helping conserve endangered species and highlight their plight. The WWF collection, launching Thursday in H&M stores and online, is made with organic cotton and features prints of animals like tigers, pandas, snow leopards, polar bears and finless porpoises as well as messages like “Roar for wildlife” and “Protect my habitat. ” Ten percent of the sales price of each item sold will be donated to WWF.

The collection, available for babies and kids up to age 14, includes sweaters, T-shirts, dresses, tights, pants and pajamas. It is designed to encourage H&M customers to be more environmentally conscious and highlight its partnership with WWF, which began in 2013 and involves action on water conservation and climate, as well as sustainability awareness in fashion.
