HOLE IN ONE: British golfer Melissa Reid has been tapped as the ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger’s women’s golf line. The 24-year-old, who placed second on the Ladies European Tour last year, will represent the brand by wearing select pieces from Hilfiger’s women’s golf collection, beginning with this season’s first LPGA Major Championship _ the Kraft Nabisco Championship _ that began Thursday in Rancho Mirage, Calif. Reid joins Keegan Bradley, the 2011 PGA Championship winner and PGA Tour Rookie of the Year, as an ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger Golf.
“I’m very excited to be wearing Tommy Hilfiger Golf on the Tour this year,” said Reid. “I’ve always loved the Tommy Hilfiger style and to be able to wear the clothing on the course will be great. They have a really wide selection of colors and styles that will work well for me both on and off the course.”
Fletcher Leisure Group is the global licensee for the women’s and men’s Hilfiger golf line.
