HOMEWARD BOUND: “It’s always great to be back in Dallas,” said Jerry Hall, just after a $25,000 jewel-encrusted cuff was sold off her wrist for charity. Christened the “original supermodel” by debonair auctioneer Alexander Gilkes, Hall was the marquee guest for Re:Define, the third annual contemporary art sale and benefit.
It’s no wonder the gala racked up more than $2 million for MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation and the Dallas Contemporary — the catalogue offered works by Julian Schnabel, Damien Hirst, Richard Phillips and more. Phillips was on hand for the event at the Dallas Contemporary and chose the music, selecting languorous rock by Brooklyn duo Starred and a DJ set by Black Bananas. Guests included Chandra North Blaylock, Nasiba Adilova and Hall’s son, Gabriel Jagger.

What’s Hall’s next project? “I’m doing a panto in December, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,’ in Richmond [England],” she said. “I’m the wicked queen. It should be fun.”
