National Father’s Day Council Names Honorees

Bloomingdale's Tony Spring, Vince Camuto and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will be recognized at the 2014 Father of the Year luncheon.

HONORING SPRING: This is a big year for Tony Spring. Not only was he elevated to chairman and chief executive officer of Bloomingdale’s, he has also been selected as a Father of the Year by the National Father’s Day Council.

Spring will join Vince Camuto, ceo and chief creative officer of Camuto Group, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at the 73rd annual luncheon on June 4. Proceeds from the event will benefit Save the Children’s U.S. programs. Spring, who has two sons, became chairman and ceo of Bloomingdale’s in February; before that he was president and chief operating officer. He has been with the retailer since 1987.
