HOUSTON LIFT OFF: The parade of high-profile retailers and restaurants keeps rolling into Houston with glamorous fanfare. Celebrity and foodie favorite Katsuya opened its sleek doors last Thursday night, bringing a taste of Los Angeles to the Lone Star State. As the first Katsuya to open in Texas, the bento box-designed restaurant merges the culinary vision of Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi and design eye of Philippe Starck. For the opening, Lynn Wyatt mixed a vintage mini Chanel quilted purse with current Fendi for a creamy neutral style, saying she never plans what she’s wearing to events. “I just go with my mood. I knew tonight was a fun night and I dressed for it,” Wyatt said. “People don’t believe when I say I don’t plan ahead, but I don’t.”
