On Wednesday night, designers (and sisters) Olivia Ma Corwin and Kai Ma Wilson feted their new line of cocktail dresses and delicate separates called Porcelain at Hotel Griffou. “This is like our debutante coming out,” Corwin said.

Trudie Styler, who is godmother to Corwin’s son, co-hosted the affair along with Arden Wohl, and absentees Genevieve Jones and Amy Sacco. Styler’s husband, Sting, came to lend his support, as did Brian Atwood and Joel Schumacher, who is coproducing the upcoming Chace Crawford flick “Twelve” with Corwin’s husband, Charlie.

Styler did her best to get the word out about her friends” designs. “Porcelain is wearable,” she said. “Women don’t need closets bulging with items they don’t wear.”

Take her ensemble, for instance. “My husband loves this shirt and he doesn’t usually like lace.” But Styler had her work cut out for her.

“I thought I was coming to a party for china,” said Ann Dexter-Jones, who was misled by the brand’s name.
