Diane von Furstenberg Recovering From Ski Accident

The designer is "resting and mending in my house in L.A.," she said via e-mail.

IN RECOVERY: Diane von Furstenberg is currently recovering from an accident on the slopes.

“I had a bad fall at the end of a day of skiing in Aspen,” she said via e-mail. “I broke my shoulder in three places. No surgery required. I am resting and mending in my house in L.A.”

This isn’t the first time the designer has had a skiing mishap. In early 2011, also in Aspen, she was hit by another skier who had lost control, breaking her nose and causing light facial fractures.
