Fashion folk have long traveled to India to score all things embellished. But now their purchases won’t always require an additional grand for the airfare. Exclusively. In, an e-commerce site devoted exclusively to Indian fashion and lifestyle vendors, launched this week. Designers such as Rohit Bal (Uma Thurman and Cindy Crawford have worn his dresses) and Rajesh Pratap Singh (he showed at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2010) sell their collections through the site, which functions like Gilt Groupe with sales changing daily. To celebrate their first few days in business, Exclusively. In will be offering a copy of “The Gandhi Collection Album One”—of which only 200 were made, one having been gifted by India’s first family to the Obamas—for a mere $3500. Which, okay, is as much as a plane ticket but at least you don’t have to go through security.
