MOVING UP: Issa has promoted its head of design Jamie O’Hare to the post of creative director. O’Hare, who has been head of design since 2013, replaces Blue Farrier, who left the company last fall.
O’Hare’s first collection as creative director will be for fall-winter 2015, slated to be shown on Feb. 22 during London Fashion Week.
“Jamie has a great understanding of the Issa brand values, and is dedicated to its evolution,” said Issa’s chairwoman and owner, Camilla Al Fayed.
O’Hare has a masters degree in women’s wear design from the Royal College of Art, and has worked at Max Mara, and Chloé, where he headed up the See by Chloé design team. He spent several seasons at Roberto Cavalli before returning to London to head the Issa design team.
