WHAT A TEAM: On Tuesday night, eyewear company Italia Independent hosted a party in Milan to celebrate its collaboration with Chiara Ferragni. The Italian beauty behind “The Blonde Salad” fashion blog worked with I-I creative team to deliver a capsule collection, consisting of two of the brand’s sunglasses offered in new color combinations. These include a unisex black style with the brand’s signature velvet effect and the arms treated with the Craquelé leather-like finishing, while the women’s option combines a beige front with orange arms.
“This collaboration shows our desire to confront ourselves with the digital world, where Chiara is definitely an influencer,” said I-I chief executive officer Andrea Tessitore.
“This partnership was born in a very natural way: we met, we liked each other and we started working on the project,” Ferragni said. “This capsule is also in line with what I am used to doing when I collaborate with brands — to re-interpret iconic styles.”
The capsule is currently available both at italiaindependent.com and at chiaraferragni.italiaindependent.com, as well as at selected stores.
