JOINING THE TEAM: Wolford America Inc. has named Jenny Altman as the luxury brand’s first style and fit expert.
Altman, a former fashion editor at Marie Claire, InStyle and O, the Oprah Magazine, will introduce Wolford’s new product lines of legwear, lingerie, shapewear, swimwear and ready-to-wear to women across the U.S. She will also present Wolford’s luxury products to a younger generation of consumers who are not yet familiar with the iconic brand.

The first of several in-store events hosted by Altman is scheduled for Sept. 19 at the Wolford store in Beverly Center in Los Angeles. A second event is slated at the Wolford boutique at NorthPark Center in Dallas.
Altman described Wolford as a specialist of “some of the most innovative and technological products in the market.”
“I love outfitting women from head to toe, inside out, and I know that it takes great shapewear and sexy lingerie to make every outfit look its best — and make every women look and feel her best,” said Altman.
Meanwhile, Wolford is celebrating the 25th anniversary of one of its best-selling items: the iconic Velvet de Luxe tights, which retail for $45.
