Jérôme Dreyfuss Gets Cash Injection

French investment firm Audacia has invested in the leather goods designer.

MONEY BAGS: Jérôme Dreyfuss, the Paris-based leather goods designer, is the recipient of a financial investment of 2 million euros, or $2.7 million at current exchange rates, from French investment firm Audacia.

The capital injection, following an initial round of financing from Audacia in 2011, is to speed the company’s expansion. “With the new funds, we are planning to open a flagship store in Seoul at the end of 2013 and one in London in 2014,” stated Rachel Chicheportiche, president of Jérôme Dreyfuss.

Jérôme Dreyfuss currently counts three freestanding stores in Paris and one in New York. It also wholesales to around 300 doors. The firm generates more than half its turnover internationally.
