MOORE IS MORE: Julianne Moore has been on another red capret roll in 2015, sporting looks from Del Pozo, Alexander McQueen and Dolce & Gabbana in the first days of the New Year. And she has at least three more events to attend during Golden Globes weekend, including Sunday’s main event, where she is nominated for Best Actress, Motion Picture Drama, for her role in “Still Alice.” “What crushes don’t I have?” she sighed on a recent red carpet. “I get so overwhelmed because there’s so many beautiful things it’s really hard to choose. I think what’s great about it is we are able to kind of inhabit that dress and then move on. We don’t have the agony of the purchase thing. I mean come on, that’s crazy — the commitment. It’s like a fantasy for us.” So far, she hasn’t worn one of her favorites, Tom Ford, which she’s likely saving for the weekend. “There are so many [designers I love]. I love Tom and everything he’s doing. Alexander Wang I think is killing it at Balenciaga. I love Givenchy. I always loved Chanel. The Chanel [I wore] at Cannes was spectacular. It was like wrapping a handkerchief in your pocket — so light.” Here’s hoping the rain predicted this Sunday won’t have the same drowning effect it did five years ago, when Moore’s satin Balenciaga hem was soaked through.
