Juun.J Joins Chambre Syndicale

The South Korean fashion designer was elected as a member of France's governing fashion body.

MEMBER’S ONLY: The Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter, des Couturiers and Créateurs de Mode has elected Juun.J a full-fledged member of the union.

France fashion’s top governing body announced on Wednesday that the South Korean fashion designer, who has paraded his modernist tailoring in Paris since 2007, has joined the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Masculine as its 34th member.

“After [watching him for] several seasons, we thought he was very talented. Among the requests we had, he was also the most interesting one,” Didier Grumbach, the federation’s president, told WWD.
