Outdoor footwear brand Keen is looking to amp up its visibility and market share. The label has hired Tyler LaMotte as its first global vice president of brand marketing.

LaMotte joins the firm from Apple where he served as senior marketer, worldwide product marketing. He has also held roles at Patagonia and Adidas.

“We are thrilled to have Tyler join Keen and round out our talented team as we continue to build the next chapter of the Keen brand, working closely with our retail partners and global channels to deliver exceptional brand experiences to our fans,” Steve Meineke, Keen’s president said.

LaMotte is based at Keen’s Portland headquarters. He began his role last month.

LaMotte is the latest hire this year for the brand, which has recently added Christy Saito as vice president, global product merchandising, outdoor and lifestyle, and Rob Langstaff as vice president, international.
