BRIGHT IDEAS: Charlie Le Mindu’s spring-summer 2014 “haute coiffeur” collection popped with phosphorescent colors. He sent 13 otherworldly and fluorescent creations down a darkened catwalk. One hairstyle resembled a massive jellyfish — with a gray-purple top and greenish tentacles covering a model’s face. Another resembled big orange petals springing from a head.

It took months of work in the dark with black lighting to create the colors. For the looks, Le Mindu used extensions from Hairdreams.

His collection was presented at DS World Paris, a new showcase for Citroën’s DS cars located at 33 Rue François 1er. An exhibition of Le Mindu’s works is on there through March 20.
