NFL player Devon Still and his fiancée Asha Joyce tied the knot at the New York Public Library Friday, in a ceremony presented by wedding media company The Knot.
The ceremony, part of The Knot’s Dream Wedding, allowed fans to pick the most intimate details of the couple’s nuptials. The couple was thrust further into the spotlight when Still revealed in June 2014 that his daughter, Leah, was battling stage-four neuroblastoma. Earlier this year, the Houston Texans defensive end revealed his now six-year-old was cancer-free.
Leah appeared on “Good Morning America” on April 26 to show off one of the two dresses she would wear for the big day. The rehearsal dinner dress, designed by Hayley Paige, is a floor-length pink gown with flower appliqués. But the flower girl dress — also designed by Paige — was kept a secret until moments before the ceremony.
After walking down the aisle Leah shared multiple kisses and a hug — along with a special handshake — with her father. She also took part in the ceremonu by helping her father and new stepmother light the unity candle.
Voters selected the invitations, flowers, cake, wedding rings, honeymoon destination and entrance song, as well as a wedding dress for Joyce — options included Pnina Tornai for Kleinfeld, Justin Alexander, Allure and Maggie Sottero — and bridesmaid dresses by Allure Bridals.
Joyce opted to wear the Pnina Tornai gown, along with Jimmy Choo shoes and a clutch by The Nude Face.
