LENDING AN EAR: Milan-based Spanish designer Cristina Ortiz is back in the fashion game with a small range of fine jewelry. It is to debut at Paris concept store Colette in December. A pair of her striking earrings have already landed on the ears of Blake Lively.

Ortiz, who has been a designer at Prada, Lanvin, Brioni and Salvatore Ferragamo, based her signature collection on a stylized wing motif recalling angels or fantastical elfin creatures. Earrings, articulated rings and necklaces are among the offerings in blackened gold with black diamonds or yellow gold highlighted with white diamonds.
