LADY LIBERTY: Liberty Ross, who has lived in L.A. for a decade, celebrated the launch of her collection for Genetic among a group of pals at Annabel’s on Wednesday night. “Whenever I get back to London, after I’ve see my family and friends, I go straight to Selfridges,” she said. “In L.A. we’re starved of cool and edgy things, it’s so strip-mall-y. But Selfridges is special.”

She may be a model, but Ross confessed that shopping for jeans is intimidating. “There are so many colors and fabrics and washes and shapes. A year ago, I wouldn’t have contemplated wearing a boot cut, but now? Just maybe.”

Chat among the guests was about summer holiday destinations: Jonathan Saunders was in Ibiza, Henry Holland in Majorca, and Roksanda Ilincic, Formentera.

Laura Carmichael of “Downton Abbey” admitted she still has not had a summer break. “I was asked if I wanted to go to Greece to promote Downton, and I thought, ‘of course’ because then maybe I can sidle off to somewhere like Patmos for a bit of sunshine.”

Other guests included Annabelle Neilson, Keira Knightley, Kim Kardashian, Laura Bailey, Alice Temperley, Nick Knight and Fran Cutler. The party ran into the early hours of the morning, with DJ sets courtesy of James Righton of The Klaxons.
