The May 31 HIV and AIDS charity event will be hosted by L’Uomo Vogue and led by Vogue Italia’s Franca Sozzani.

CIRCLE OF LIFE: The 21st annual Life Ball, the biggest HIV and AIDS charity event in Europe, will hold its first-ever men’s fashion show on May 31 in Vienna at Vienna City Hall. The event, hosted by L’Uomo Vogue and led by Vogue Italia’s Franca Sozzani, will feature looks from brands including Givenchy, Lanvin, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Viktor & Rolf, Etro, and Dsquared2.

“The Life Ball has become a nationally and internationally acclaimed major event and an established recognized platform in the fight against the HIV-virus,” said Gery Keszler, founder of the organization. “It brings the world’s best in celebrity, music and fashion.” Proceeds from tickets sold will support non-profit organizations such as amfAR, the Clinton Foundation, the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, among others. Ricky Martin will be the event’s musical guest and Bill Clinton will deliver the night’s keynote remarks.
