HOME ADVANTANGE: A definite perk of the CFDA’s annual new members party is the rare peek it provides into the hosting designer’s home — Donna Karan, Vera Wang, Elie Tahari and Arnold Scaasi having done the honors in past years. On Thursday night, Lisa Perry opened the door to her crib, and it’s safe to say the impressive art collection she and husband Richard Perry built — with big names like Lichtenstein, Koons, Warhol and Hirst — gave the fashion talent on hand some hefty competition for the spotlight.
“It’s not shabby, it’s shiny,” said Zac Posen, also referencing the modernist decor with Pop touches that align with Lisa Perry’s fashion ethos. As Creatures of the Wind’s Shane Gabier put it, “There is a real consistent aesthetic.”

Guests like Liz Lange, Public School’s Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, and Patrik Ervell wandered through the home; Richard Perry gave CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg a private mini-tour. “It’s amazing,” said Christian Siriano. “Did you go to the terrace? I haven’t seen Lisa’s closet yet, but that’s next.”
