Rebecca Minkoff Collaborates With Electronics Brand Frends

LISTEN UP: Rebecca Minkoff is breaking into the music industry with an exclusive design for Frends With Benefits, a new line of interchangeable headphone caps from electronics brand Frends.

Inspired by her aquamarine holographic accessories for fall, the designer’s offering features shiny embossed leather and gold metal piping. The exclusive design easily “clicks” into the “Taylor” base, which is available in both gold and black, for easy design swapping. Additional, non-Minkoff caps are available in Metal Stingray, Black Enamel, Tortoise and Hollywood Regency, a gray, ivory, brown, and black patterned acetate.

“Who better to partner with than Rebecca Minkoff?” said Frends cofounder Keir Dillon of the collaboration. “The way she blends a playfulness within the subtly edgy designs is a perfect enhancement to our new collection.”

The collection will be available at the Apple Online Store, on and in Nordstrom locations nationwide. The Rebecca Minkoff caps, sold with base frame, will retail for $249, with additional caps sold separately at $49.99.
