Loehmann’s New Web Site Launches

The site features brands across a variety of categories at discounted prices, although not all are available at the same time.

LOEHMANN’S WEBSITE OPERATIONAL: Loehmann’s new Web site is now operational, less than five months after the nameplate and related intellectual property assets were acquired in January in a bankruptcy court auction by Esopus Creek Value Series Fund LP, a hedge fund.

The site features brands across a variety of categories at discounted prices, although not all are available at the same time. Those categories include men’s, women’s and children’s apparel; men’s, women’s and children’s footwear; handbags; beauty products for fragrance, skin care and hair care, and bed and bath products for the home.

Still available are high-end designer brands such as Hervé Léger, Karl Lagerfeld, L.A.M.B. and Versace Jeans Couture. Also represented is a sizable listing of contemporary brands the Millennial consumer would be familiar with, one of the site’s targeted consumer base. For select items that are higher-priced, even with the discount, shoppers have the option of paying on installment, over a six-month period, via one’s PayPal account.
