London Fashion Week Adds Designers

Milliner Philip Treacy is among those staging runway shows in September.

LONDON — The British Fashion Council today released its provisional schedule for the spring 2013 show season, and there are a few new names in the lineup.

They include milliner Philip Treacy, who will stage a runway show on Sept. 16, while Australian label Willow will hold a salon show on Sept. 14.

As reported, designers Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi will return to London to showcase their Preen by Thornton Bregazzi collection on Sept. 16, and Rag & Bone will hold a special presentation Sept. 15 in their new Sloane Square store, following their New York runway show on Sept. 7.

Meanwhile, accessories label Anya Hindmarch and designer Richard Nicoll will both have runway shows, after having both staged presentations last season. And Moschino’s Cheap & Chic line, which made its London debut last season, will continue to show in the city, with a runway show scheduled for Sept. 15.
