L’Wren Scott Scheduled to Talk Fashion, Art at Neue Galerie

LIFE IMITATES ART: L’Wren Scott will be at the Neue Galerie June 20 to discuss how Gustav Klimt inspired her fall-winter collection. Sixty guests (primarily art patrons) have been invited to the Fifth Avenue museum for the designer’s chat with Rachel Feinstein about her fondness for his work especially the portraits of Adele Bloch-Bauer. And the gallery setting couldn’t be better. The Upper East Side museum owns ‘Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer,’ the 1907 painting that took Klimt three years to complete and a reported $135 million for Neue founder Ronald Lauder to own.
