LYST’S NEW LOCALE: Online fashion marketplace Lyst has a new home in London. In late December, the firm will move its headquarters to a building in East London’s Shoreditch, which once housed the White Cube gallery.
The company is taking over the entire 7,362-square-foot space, which will be dubbed Lyst Studios. Lyst’s offices will be stationed in the Hoxton Square space’s top two floors, which are housed in a glass extension that sits atop the original Twenties red-brick building. The 2,200-square-foot ground-floor gallery area will be used as a space to showcase brands and retailers that Lyst features on the site, along with other fashion and technology companies, with the aim to support innovation in those industries. Lyst will make the building’s remaining first floor available to local start-up firms to rent.
