Alexander McQueen Offering Bespoke Services in London Men’s Store

In keeping with the traditions of Savile Row, bespoke will occupy the basement space of the shop.

MADE BY MCQUEEN: In keeping with the traditions of Savile Row, the basement space of the Alexander McQueen men’s shop on London’s historical tailoring address has been dedicated to bespoke services. Bespoke clients will be sized-up by the head tailor, who will hand draft and cut the pattern. Following the initial appointment, two to three subsequent fittings over eight to 10 weeks will see the clients’ sartorial visions come to fruition.

Making use of a selection of classic and exclusive house fabrics, the house style will be cut with McQueen’s signature Pagoda shoulder and precise silhouette. Bespoke prices will start from 2,880 pounds, or about $4,360 at current exchange, for a suit jacket and 3,600 pounds, or about $5,446, for a two-piece suit.

A separate made-to-measure service will offer a key Alexander McQueen block in three styles — a single-breasted, two-button jacket with a peak or notch lapel option and a double-breasted jacket. These pieces will be produced in Italy and delivered in six to eight weeks, with prices starting from 1,735 pounds, or about $2,624, for a two-button, single-breasted mohair suit.
