ELEPHANT WOMAN: Lou Doillon is adding another string to her bow – circus tricks. The actress is set to ride atop an elephant in an upcoming gala at Paris’s Cirque d’Hiver later this month. “Training starts this week. We’re just waiting for the elephant to arrive,” she related at Maison Martin Margiela’s show Friday. “They keep telling me the elephant is the priority,” she laughed.
The model and actress has just shot a Fashion Against Aids campaign alongside Lizzy Jagger for H&M. Fellow actress Roxane Mesquida said she’s been working with rather less majestic animals for her upcoming movie, “The Hole in the Wall.” “I play a woman who’s lost her father. She’s very lonely and then she’s invaded by mice,” she explained. “Luckily I love mice. I had two on the set but they died.”
French actor Andy Gillet said he’s in talks to front a French brand but wouldn’t give anything away. The actor is next appearing in an adaptation of Proust’s “In Search of Lost Time.” “It will be turn of the century: All top hats, canes and gloves. I can’t wait,” he said of the costumes.
Zoé Félix has been getting physical for her latest role in “Captive,” a thriller in which she plays a humanitarian worker who gets kidnapped. “I was covered in blood and running all over the place. It was brilliant,” she said.
