Edit Trade Show to Debut in February

The New York-based event will feature emerging designers in the premium women’s wear market.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Make room for another women’s trade show in February. Edit, a New York-based event featuring emerging designers in the premium women’s wear market, will have its initial run in February. Presented by Business Journals Fashion Group, which sponsors such shows as Fame, Moda Manhattan and Accessories The Show, Edit is expected to have a curated presentation of emerging trends and directional product. The show is geared to contemporary and luxury retailers.

Edit will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and will include concierge services and look books. Admission to Edit will be by invitation and approval only. Select department store buyers and specialty stores will be recruited through a targeted multichannel marketing campaign. The show will take place in February and September and will feature fashion and accessories. The initial show in February will have about 100 exhibitors.

Alexandra d’Archangelo serves as show director and Jennifer Park is branding-merchandising manager. A private launch party will take place during the upcoming women’s market this month.
