ART AND COMMERCE: To mark the re-launch of its website, Marni has unveiled a quarterly online magazine called Anticamera, the Italian word for lobby. Edited by Carolina Castiglioni, daughter of Marni designer Consuelo Castiglioni and the brand’s director of special projects, it aims to offer a new view of the Marni world. To wit: International artists are asked to express their vision of the brand through different forms of communication. First up is multimedia artist Tellas, who created a video inspired by nature. He also decorated a wall at the company’s factory that was used as a background for an Anticamera photo shoot featuring Carolina Castiglioni. Canvas bags and cotton T-shirts decorated with prints inspired by Tellas’ video will be sold on starting in October.
