MEET MARKET: Mark Wahlberg is unmistakable in A&E’s “Wahlburgers” ads standing beside his brothers Donnie and Paul in their green “Mom’s Favorite” T-shirts. The actor has also been tough to miss during early-morning workouts at Equinox in Boston. When in his hometown filming “Ted 2,” the former Calvin Klein Underwear model hits the gym in T-shirts and sweats with seven friends in tow. Staffers and early-morning exercisers are happy to chat up the actor and vice versa.
It all adds up, since “Entourage,” the HBO show, is loosely based on Wahlberg’s Hollywood experiences and he helped produce it. But he still dresses like a “townie” (Boston slang for local) — sporting T-shirts, sweat pants and the occasional hoodie, according to one observer.
